What’s the difference between Standard and Premium?
Standard ($249) covers everyday passenger cars under $30k — visual and operational inspection, road test where permitted, photos, verdict, and phone walkthrough. Premium ($349) adds scan tool diagnostics, a PPSR check (finance/stolen/write-off history), and the option to attend the inspection. It’s designed for 4WDs, utes, SUVs, prestige vehicles, or anything over $30k.
Can we attend the inspection?
Attendance is included with the Premium package. You can join for a start/end walkthrough where access is permitted at the location.
Do you deal with the seller/dealer?
Yes. We coordinate access and timing directly — you don’t have to chase anyone.
What is a PPSR check?
A PPSR (Personal Property Securities Register) check identifies if a vehicle has finance owing and may show stolen or written-off records. Included in Premium.
How fast do we get the report?
Same-day in most cases, depending on access and scheduling. If timing is tight, we’ll tell you up front.
What does “non-invasive” mean?
No dismantling or disassembly. The inspection is visual and operational — based on what’s observable at the time. If something can’t be checked, we’ll note it clearly.
What vehicles do you inspect?
Cars, 4WDs, utes, vans, and light commercial vehicles. We don’t inspect heavy trucks or vehicles requiring a different licence class.
What if the seller won’t allow a road test?
We’ll note it in the report. Conclusions on drive-related items will be limited and we’ll be transparent about that.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes — the $50 deposit is refundable if you cancel more than 24 hours before the booking. Cancellations within 24 hours may forfeit the deposit due to scheduling.
Do you cover all of Sydney?
Eastern Suburbs are our home base and standard travel is included. For metro Sydney outside of that, we can usually get there — just ask and we’ll confirm any travel cost up front.
